Our house is built on a simple belief: the first things of the season hold a special power. The first flush of tea — ichiban-cha — carries the sweetness, umami and vitality the plant has stored all winter. It is the truest expression of what tea is. Our matcha and Japanese teas are born only from such leaves, fully organic, from producers who accept no compromise.
We partner directly with a small number of exceptional growers: a master organic estate in Kagoshima, in such demand that it accepts no new partners, and a singular field beneath Mt. Fuji, which we help expand year by year at fair prices so that the highest quality can be supplied, sustainably, for the long term.
An omamori is given, not kept. It travels with the person you wish well. We named our matcha OMAMORI MATCHA so that every tin, every bowl, carries that intention — from Japan's tea fields to tables around the world.
